Introduction
Whether you're tracking ROI or setting up campaign sending automations, the HubSpot integration seamlessly connects Sendoso activity to your HubSpot workflows. In this article, we'll go through how to sync HubSpot to your Sendoso account.
Please note that you'll need to be an Admin in Sendoso to complete these steps.
Connecting HubSpot to Sendoso
Follow these steps to get your HubSpot instance connected to Sendoso:
To get started, log in to Sendoso.
Navigate to the Integrations page by selecting the "Integrations" link under the menu icon in the top-right corner (or click here to go directly to the Integrations page):
Find the HubSpot panel, and select View the Integration
Select the Sync HubSpot button on the right-hand side of the screen.
You'll be prompted to sign into HubSpot and authorize Sendoso.
That's it! You have successfully connected HubSpot & Sendoso and you should see a green dot along with the word "Synced" from now on.
Now that you have connected HubSpot to Sendoso you can create a campaign to be triggered! Automated sending via HubSpot is done directly out of workflows.
Global Sync and Writeback Mapping
Once you sync HubSpot with Sendoso, you'll want to set up the Writeback Mapping settings within Sendoso. You'll see these settings after you sync HubSpot on this page. This allows you to have Sendoso write additional data points back to the contact record in HubSpot.

Adding Sendoso App Cards in HubSpot
The Sendoso App Card in HubSpot is now available to add to a contact layout.
Below are instructions for how to add Sendoso cards to your contact view. If you prefer to view a tutorial, click here.
To get started, head to any contact in your HubSpot account. Click Customize at the top.
Choose the view you'd like to customize.
Click the plus sign at the top.
Click Card Library at the top and search "Sendoso" in the search bar.
Add one, or both, Sendoso cards to your view. Keep in mind that SmartSend is only available for specific Sendoso plan types. The Send a Gift card is available for any account that has the HubSpot integration synced.
Click Save and Exit.
Now, on every contact page, you'll have the ability to send a gift from Sendoso!

What permissions does the synced user need in HubSpot?
Only required permissions to be the synced user is 'Super Admin' permissions in HubSpot.
Do I need to use a dedicated integration user?
No, you can sync to your own personal HubSpot license if preferred. Just make sure the synced user is a Super Admin in HubSpot.
Are all of the writeback mapping fields required?
No! They are all optional, but we believe the writeback mapping fields help with reporting on gifting campaigns and ROI directly in HubSpot. See this article for more info on ROI reporting.
What happens if I leave the company and I am the synced user?
Not a big deal, the sync will stop working if the user is deleted in HubSpot, however, a new user can sync their account to Sendoso to re-establish the connection. Our support team can also retroactively sync historical send data to HubSpot if need be.
