Introduction
Sendoso enables you to map additional fields back to Salesforce beyond the campaign member status. This will help the team pull additional data points into Salesforce for reporting on Sendoso!
This article will go through ROI tracking at the campaign level in the legacy campaign creation flow. If you'd like to learn about tracking at the global level, please review this article.
Setting up Additional SFDC Tracking Fields
In the campaign setup, navigate to the "Campaign Tracking" section (second to the last page.) Under the campaign member statuses, you'll see an Additional Salesforce Tracking bar. Click to expand.
Upon expanding this section, you will be presented with a number of additional fields Sendoso can push back to Salesforce.
All you have to do is select the object (Contact, Lead, Campaign, etc.) you want to push the information to and then what field on that object.
Keep in mind that the majority of the time, your Salesforce admin/team will have to create fields if you are wanting to map any of these.
Sendoso strongly recommends always mapping the "Total $ Spent on Campaign" option so you can report on the campaigns within Salesforce.
Additional Fields Definitions
Total $ Spent:
- The total cost of the send for an individual recipient. Can be tracked to any field on the campaign member object. May require a custom field.
- The total cost of the send for an individual recipient. Can be tracked to any field on the contact object. May require a custom field.

- The accumulated total cost of the touch based on all sends of that touch. Can be tracked to any field on the campaign object. Recommend mapping to the Actual Cost in Campaign field (a default field in Salesforce).
