Introduction
Sendoso is now available as an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server — a closed beta that lets you connect Sendoso's gifting capabilities directly to your AI tools. Once connected, your AI assistant can search the marketplace, send gifts, pull recipient context from Salesforce and Gong, and query analytics, all from within your existing workflow, with your approval at every step.

What Can the Sendoso MCP Do?
Once connected, your AI tool can take actions on your behalf inside Sendoso — the same capabilities available through the Sendoso platform. Here's what's included:
Sending:
- Search the marketplace by product name, brand, theme, or recipient interest (e.g., "wine lover," "new puppy," or "Yeti")
- Browse trending products and gift categories
- View full product details, pricing, variants, and shipping eligibility
- Send a physical gift or eGift to a recipient — with a confirmation step before anything is submitted
- Cancel a send that hasn't shipped yet (balance is automatically refunded)
Recipient Intelligence:
- Look up a Salesforce contact's details, title, account info, and recent activities by email
- Pull Salesforce deal stage, size, and close date for an account
- Access rep-written notes on a contact or deal
- Pull Gong call transcripts to personalize gift selection and messaging
- We also surface Clearbit enrichment (name, role, seniority, company, social profiles) and PDL profile lookup (deeper career/LinkedIn data).
Analytics:
- Query your send data for volume, engagement, spend patterns, and trends

Is this the same as OSO, Sendoso's AI assistant?
The Sendoso MCP gives your own AI tools the same capabilities available inside Sendoso — including everything you'd do through the platform. It's those same capabilities, now accessible inside your own AI tools.
Will the AI send gifts without my permission?
No. Every send goes through a two-step process: your AI tool will preview the send — including the recipient, product, and price — and explicitly ask for your approval before anything is submitted. Nothing ships without your confirmation.
Do my team's send limits still apply?
Yes. Your team's price limits and permissions are enforced automatically, the same as they are in the Sendoso platform.
