The Base.ai integration allows Sendoso to fulfill any reward (eGift Card or physically mailed gift) requests from Base.ai.
To set this integration up, you will need to create a manual campaign in Sendoso for Base.ai rewards, then configure the rewards in Base.ai.
Please complete the following steps to integrate Sendoso with your Base.ai rewards.
This article will show the new campaign creation flow. For tips on using the old flow, click here for the first part of this process. After you've created the campaign in the old flow, come back to this article for instructions on obtaining API documentation and what to do within the Base.ai platform.
Sendoso: Creating a Campaign
First, navigate to your Campaigns page and select + Create Campaign.
You’ll be taken to the Marketplace, where you can either choose an eGift or a physical gift to add to the campaign.
Once you’ve made your choice, click Save and Continue at the top.
On the next page, you’ll be asked to fill out some information about the campaign.
Once you’ve filled out the information, click Save & Continue at the top.
When you’re prompted to choose whether the rewards should be funded by a sender’s balance or via a funding source, we recommend choosing a funding source. If you opt to choose the sender’s balance, it will only pull from the balance of the user who syncs their Sendoso account with Base.ai. For more information about Funding Sources, see this article.
Continue the process until you reach the end and can click the Activate your Campaign button.
Now that your Base.ai campaign is created, it’s time to go over to your Base.ai account to connect the Sendoso platform and configure the Sendoso rewards.
The Base.ai integration does not allow for a handwritten note or any personalized notecard message to come included with the gift. We recommend having a pre-printed notecard with messaging included in a BYO Box campaign if triggering through Base.ai.
API Documentation
Before you configure the reward in the Base.ai platform, please reach out to Sendoso Support* and request the following:
- Sendoso API Client ID
- Sendoso API Client Secret
You will need this information to establish the connection between Sendoso and Base.ai.

Base.ai: Configure Sendoso Rewards
Log in to your Base.ai account for the following steps.
From the top navigation bar, choose Settings and then click Rewards.
Click the Settings tab at the top and click to expand Sendoso. This is where you’ll submit the information that you requested from Sendoso Support.
Once that information is saved, click the Rewards tab at the top to add the Sendoso reward.
Click + Add New in the top-right corner. Then select Sendoso.
On the next page, you’ll select the campaign that you created in Sendoso in the Item drop-down menu. Then, you’ll enter the Credits (points) needed for an advocate to redeem the reward.
Enter the Value to be provided and then check the Show on portal box at the bottom.
Click Save.
That’s it! You’ve successfully created a Base.ai campaign and configured the reward in Base.ai for your advocates. For more information on how to edit, delete, or view all of your rewards, please review this article.
