Your user’s balance or Funding Source will be charged at different times depending on the type of send and features used.
In this article, we will explain when you can expect to be charged for a send.
eGifts
When sending an eGift you will be immediately charged once you send it.
Please feel free to view eGift FAQs for details on when you would receive a refund if an eGift is not opened.
Physical Sends
When sending a physical send such as from your inventory, Amazon, and Sendoso Direct you will be immediately charged for the send.
Amazon Sends
For Amazon sends through the Chrome extension, you'll be charged the cost of the item plus the default shipping cost. However, once it's received, repackaged, and shipped from our warehouse, the cost will adjust to the actual cost of shipping plus any pick and pack fees associated with the shipment.
For Amazon sends through SmartSend, you will be charged the entire amount immediately.
Your Send Tracker will provide the exact send cost for your review. You can visit Send Tracker Overview and FAQs for details on how to view the cost of a send.
Physical Sends with Address Confirmation
When using Address Confirmation, you are charged the estimated cost of the send at the time of the send. However, you will be refunded and credited if the recipient never confirms their address and the send never processes.
