The Sendoso/Eloqua integration enables you to automate gifting based on an Eloqua campaign. You'll need to have Eloqua connected to Sendoso first, so click here for information on how to do that before you complete the steps below.
Create a Sendoso Campaign
To get started, navigate to your Campaigns page under the Configure tab and select "+ Create Campaign":
Follow the prompts to select the gift(s) you'd like to offer your recipients. Click here for more information and further instructions.
Create the Automation in Sendoso
Once your Sendoso campaign is created, it's now time to create the automation. If you prefer to see a demo, click here.
Head to the Automations page under the Configure drop-down menu.
Click + Create Automation in the top right corner and find the campaign you created for Eloqua. Click Next once the correct campaign is selected.
Select Oracle Eloqua. Then click Save & Continue.
Next, select how long you'd like the offer to remain available once triggered.
Then, map the contact and address fields. You'll need to type in the field name to find and select it for the mapping. Be sure to map the address fields if you're planning on offering physical gifts to your recipients.
On the next page is where you can add templates for email and notecard templates. You can use any fields available to add a touch of personalization.
Also, you will choose who will receive the notifications when this automation is triggered.
The last page is where you can confirm certain settings. Be sure to click Save & Activate when you're finished.
Add Sendoso to Eloqua Campaign
Now it's time to head over to Eloqua to add Sendoso to a campaign.
Click Create in the top-right corner, or select an existing campaign to edit and add a Sendoso step.
Once on the Canvas, you'll see a Sendoso icon as an option on the left.
First, add a step that you want to trigger the Sendoso Automation you just configured. Then, drag and drop the Sendoso action and use the arrows to connect the trigger to the action.
In the example below, a form will need to be submitted to trigger the automation.
Now you'll need to configure both steps. Double-click on each icon to choose which form (or email, or segement, etc) to use and which Sendoso automation to trigger. Click the pencil icon.
Important: Choose your team even if you only have one Sendoso team connected to your Eloqua account. This step is required.
Then, choose Automations as the Send Type. You'll then be able to choose the automation that you just configured in Sendoso.
Click Verify to make sure everything is working, then click Save in the top-right corner.
That's it! You've created a Sendoso/Eloqua automation!
