Demandbase and Salesforce can be used together to automate sending. While this is not a direct integration, use this recipe to use both tools to automate your gifting strategy using data from Demandbase.
If you're using the Sendoso MCP, check out this Sendoso MCP + Demandbase playbook for an in-depth look in how these two tools can work together.
Configuring the campaign in Salesforce
From the Salesforce side, create a campaign within Salesforce.
- Campaigns > Create New
- Campaign Name
- Best practice is to name it “Sendoso-Demandbase (Item or Purpose)” - for example Sendoso-Demandbase Q2-2020 Cupcakes
- Active Checkbox - Checked
- Type: Direct Mail (or Sendoso/applicable campaign type)
- Status: In progress > Save Campaign
- Advanced Setup > Edit Campaign Member Statuses (Processing, Shipped, Delivered, Undeliverable) > Save
Create the automation in Sendoso
