Set inventory limits by team

We bulk order items for multiple teams to use (marketing, sales, partner, etc) and split the cost of the order internally based on how many items each team needs. I want to make sure each team only has access to the number of items we originally planned for. It would be great to be able to set quantity limits on individual inventory items by team when we're setting it up and choosing which teams have access to that item in the first place.

    Hi Keith, 

    Thank you for posting this interesting product features idea! I know we have inventory access control, so only certain teams have access to specific inventory items. However, we don't have any controls on the quantity that those teams have access to. I'll forward this to our product team for their review!

    Thanks Katherine! The inventory access control is good for limiting teams from items completely, but if I have 100 units of a single product and two different teams that should only have 50 units each, the only way to control that is creating two separate inventory products and paying extra to have them split. It's a bit messy and not convenient. Would love to see this in the future!
