Canceling a physical send is super easy through the Sendoso platform for Sends in certain statuses. Below, we'll go through the different types of physical Sends, how to cancel them, when they can be canceled, and when to reach out for assistance.
Please note that Senders cannot cancel eGift Sends. For more information on eGifts, feel free to review this article.
How to cancel a Send
To cancel a physical Send, head to your Send Tracker and locate the Send you wish to cancel. From there, click the three dots icon all the way to the right of that Send's row.
You will then see a modal appear with the option to cancel the Send.
If you receive an error message, please contact the Support Team for assistance.
Canceling an Inventoried Send
Inventoried Sends can be canceled through the Sendoso platform if they are in a Confirming Address status in the Send Tracker.
If the order is already in a Processing status, it may not be eligible for cancellation. However, you can contact our Support team to confirm.
Once a Send has been shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Canceling a Sendoso Direct Send
The process for canceling a Sendoso Direct send is similar to canceling an inventoried send. The only thing to keep in mind is that you will only be able to cancel a Direct Send through the platform before the recipient has confirmed their address if address confirmation was enabled for that Send.
If Address Confirmation is not enabled for a Send, please contact the Support Team to assist you with canceling the Send as you will not be able to do so on your end.
If you need to cancel a Sendoso Direct Send after the recipient has confirmed their address, please reach out to the Support Team for assistance.
After the recipient confirms their address, we cannot guarantee that canceling the Send is an option, but the Support Team will work directly with the vendor to discuss what options are available.
Canceling an Amazon Send
Due to the nature of how Amazon Sends are processed, there is only one instance when an Amazon Send can be canceled. If address confirmation is enabled, Amazon Sends can be canceled before the recipient confirms their address.
After an address is confirmed, however, the order cannot be canceled. If a Send is initiated without address confirmation enabled, the Send cannot be canceled after it is submitted.
