If your campaign has a send limit, it’s important to understand how the timing works. Our system uses a rolling date range, not a fixed calendar week (like Sunday–Sunday) or a set reset date.
Here is what it means and how your availability is calculated.
What Is a Rolling Limit?
A rolling limit means:
- You can send up to a set number of gifts within a defined number of days (for example, 10 sends within 7 days, 20 sends within 30 days, etc.).
- There is no weekly or monthly reset date.
- The limit does not automatically refresh on a specific day.
- The system always looks at the previous number of days based on your campaign’s limit window.
Instead of resetting on a calendar schedule, the limit “moves” forward day by day.
How your limits are calculated
When you attempt to send, we check for:
How many sends occurred within the defined rolling window leading up to today?
For example:
- If your campaign allows 10 sends within 7 days, the system checks the previous 7 days.
- If your campaign allows 25 sends within 30 days, the system checks the previous 30 days.
If the maximum number of sends has already occurred within that rolling window, you’ll need to wait until earlier sends fall outside of that timeframe before sending again.
Example
Let’s say your campaign limit is:
- 10 sends within 7 days
- If you want to send on Monday, the system looks at activity from Monday to the previous Monday.
- If 10 sends occurred during that period, the limit has been reached.
- On Tuesday, the window shifts forward by one day. The system will now review from Tuesday to the previous Tuesday.
As older sends fall outside of the rolling window, availability opens back up.
Key Things to Remember
- There is no reset date
- The limit does not refresh weekly or monthly
- The system always reviews the most recent number of days defined by your campaign
- Availability changes daily as older sends move outside of the rolling window
How to Plan Your Sends
To check availability:
- Identify the date you want to send.
- Look back at the number of days defined in your campaign limit.
- Count how many sends occurred during that timeframe.
If the total is below your campaign limit, you can send.
The number of sends you have remaining is displayed directly on the campaign card in your Send tab. This number updates automatically based on your rolling limit window.
