No matter what you're sending, Sendoso's new Automations feature gives you the ability to run your gifting programs at scale!
Why should I use Automations?
Automations simplifies some of the backend admin work in Sendoso & gives you a couple of new added benefits.
- Size selection - Automations enable you to send a sized item and have the recipient pick their size! No more creating one Sendoso campaign per size.
- Edit the offer email - Want to have Sendoso collect the addresses, but don't want to use static messaging? Automations gives you the ability to edit the initial offer email sent to the recipient using dynamic fields from your integration!
- Global gifting - Leveraging Sendoso's new campaign creation flow, you can select gifts that are eligible to be sent to a variety of locations. Gone are the days of segmenting your campaign based on the recipient's location.
- Sending manually - In the event something fails and you're on a time crunch, you can quickly send the gift from the Send page in Sendoso. Say goodbye to the backup campaign you built just in case this happened.
How to get started
Since we are currently in a beta period, please reach out to your Customer Success resource or the Sendoso Support Team to have this feature enabled.
We'll flip a few switches to get you going.
Adding an Automation
There are two paths from which you can launch the Automations creation flow.
After creating your campaign using the new campaign creation flow, you'll see a button to Activate & Add Automation:
If you already have your campaign set up, you can create an Automation directly from the Automations page in Sendoso.
Open the right-side menu and choose Automations.
From here, click the orange Create Automation button.
Choose the campaign you want to add an Automation to, then press Next.
Integration Selection
Select which integration you'd like to use.
If you choose to add an Automation directly from campaign creation, this is where you'll begin.
Automation Details
Here is where you'll configure the bulk of your automation's settings.
Automation type: If the integration you selected has more than one, you can choose the right one for your campaign.
Offer Email Settings: This allows you to set the duration this offer is valid. If the recipient doesn't select their gift within that timeframe, we'll expire and refund the send.
Configure Automation: This section will contain any relevant configurations needed to automate your campaign.
Templates & Notifications
Control the messaging and who gets notifications for your Automation.
Offer Email Template: This is the template message that will be shown in the email the recipient receives.
Notecard Template: If you are sending a physical gift as an option, this is the messaging the recipient will see on the notecard that accompanies the gift.
Summary
Look over your configuration on the summary page. If everything looks good, save & activate your new Automation!
