How can I troubleshoot Sendoso Chrome extension issues?

  • Updated

Once you download the extension, it should automatically appear on the right side of your address bar. If you don't see the Sendoso icon go to chrome://extensions/ to make sure it's turned on.

If your Sendoso account is synced to Salesforce and you don't see the Sendoso icon on a Contact or Lead page, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the Details button to review the extension settings
  2. Allow access to each site, as needed
  3. Scroll down and click the Extensions Options to enable the Sendoso button within each site

  4. Check your browser settings and ensure you are not blocking third-party cookies

If you still don't see the Sendoso button, go back into your extension settings and toggle on the 'Allow in Incognito' option. Once it's turned on, try logging in from an incognito window. If the Sendoso extension works in Incognito mode, that means another Chrome extension is affecting its performance.

If you are still unable to see the Sendoso button after following the troubleshooting steps above, please take a screenshot of the console logs.

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of your Google Chrome Browser
  2. Hover over More Tools
  3. Click Developer Tools
  4. Take a screenshot of the entire webpage with the JavaScript Console visible. Ensure the Console tab is visible, and not Elements, Network, or any other tabs
  5. Send this over to our Support team to investigate the issue

If you encounter an endless loading error with the extension, please try these steps:

  1. In Chrome settings, make sure "Allow all cookies" is selected Screen
  2. Remove and re-add the extension
  3. Unsync/re-sync your Salesforce account (if applicable)
  4. Clear browser cache/cookies
  5. Try in an Incognito window
    1. If it works in an incognito window, it's likely a browser issue or another extension
  6. Turn off your VPN temporarily
    1. If it works when VPN is disabled, please follow up with your internal IT team who can check your proxy settings and adjust them to prevent it from redirecting our API requests.

If the troubleshooting steps above do not resolve your issues, please contact our Support team to further assist.
