What is a Carrier Surcharge?

After submitting a physical Send, you may notice a "Carrier Surcharge" item on the Send Details page. With our new pricing model, this charge will appear in the Price Breakdown section of that Send's Details page.

A Carrier Surcharge covers operational costs for the carriers that Sendoso uses to ship your Sends. It addresses things like fuel prices and labor costs.  While this surcharge appears as a separate charge on the Send Details page, the amount is figured into our new pricing model, which you can read more about here
