Low Inventory alerts are not enabled by default, but Admins and Manager users can set them up for each product as needed. To do this, navigate to the Inventory tab and click the 'Add Reminder' button next to the product.
In the pop-up window, set the threshold to trigger the low inventory notification. When the available quantity reaches that amount, a reminder email will be sent. You can choose to only send the notification to you, or to all admin users.
Once the settings are saved, the contact(s) selected will receive automated email notifications moving forward when the available product quantity falls below the amount selected.
